Garlic
contains almost 80 sulfur compounds. Organic sulfur is famous for its
healing and infection fighting ability. Garlic also contains an
extremely powerful sulfuric compound called Allicin which is released
when ever garlic cells are crushed, bruised or damaged. Allicin makes
garlic one of the most popular natural alternatives to antibiotics.
Like penicillin, alllicin kills bacteria, fungus, microbes and protozoa
in the digestive tract. This makes garlic one of the world's most
effective all natural broad spectrum antibiotics. It has been proven in
the laboratory to kill every bacteria known, yet unlike antibiotics, it
does not harm your own intestinal flora. A truly amazing food additive,
particularly when first crushed. Supplements are of course also
effective.

Secrets to Great Soil
Stell starts with an analysis of soil: how it was formed, its different
textures, its structure, and the importance of drainage and earthworms.
She explains how to create fertile soil with the help of nutrients and
organic matter and what hand tools are needed to cultivate the
soil--trowels, hoes, spades, shovels, weeders, forks, rakes, etc., as
well as power tools such as shredders, trimmers, mowers, rototillers,
and cultivators. There's a chapter on making and using compost and how
to construct composting bins, a chapter on the use of mulches, and one
on choosing and using fertilizers. Another chapter gives data on
starting a new garden and deals with raised beds, sunken beds, slopes,
and terraces.

The Benefits of Regular Exercise
Improves your mood
Physical activity stimulates hormones, serotonin and endoprhins, all of which help you to feel relaxed while healing the body.
Reduces disease
Exercise promotes good cholesterol and decreases triglycerides, releases endorphins and other healing chemicals within the body, all of which promotes health and healing via natural anti-inflammatories and repairing of the body.
Improves your memory
Blood flow to the brain and nervous system is enhanced when you exercise. Increased blood flow to these areas improves nervous transmission and brain activity.
Boosts energy
Regular activity increases the red blood cell count and oxygenation of the body. This repairs and sends nutrients to all areas of the body, improving energy levels.
Controls weight
Oxygenation and deeper breathing burns fat in the body. The body also uses stored fats while exercising, which will improve your weight and appearance.
It is also recommended that you keep your exercises fun and/or simple. This makes exercising an easier option and therefore more likely to be utilized, rather than put off due to difficulty or time constraints.

Long Purple Carrots
When
someone says the word “carrot,” don’t you just naturally picture the
long orange veggie with the green top? Carrots and the color orange are
practically synonymous, but it wasn’t always this way. Carrots used to
be purple, and sometimes even white. How did the change happen? The
orange carrot you know and love came to be in the 1500’s.But before that, in Asia and the eastern Mediterranean areas, they used to be purple! Nature created a new yellow vegetable by hybridizing the original purple kind with different wild varieties. This new version was then brought to the west, where the yellow mutants and other wild forms crossed to eventually produce the orange carrots we enjoy today.
Also purple carrots contained up to five times more phenolics and falcarinol than orange carrots and both compounds are being investigated for their potential to protect against cardiovascular disease, inhibit the development of cancer cells in the body and reverse the negative effects of high-fat diets.
Everything you need to know to can and preserve your own food.
With the cost of living continuing to rise, more and more people are saving money and eating healthier by canning and preserving food at home.
Following are some aids that can help you in from where to start:

Healing Miracle for Burns
A young man sprinkling his lawn and
bushes with pesticides wanted to check the contents of the barrel to see
how much pesticide remained in it. He raised the cover and lit his
lighter; the vapors inflamed and engulfed him. He jumped from his truck,
screaming. His neighbor came out of her house with a dozen eggs,
yelling: "bring me some eggs!" She broke them, separating the whites
from the yolks. The neighbor woman helped her to apply the whites on the
young man's face. When the ambulance arrived and when the EMTs saw the
young man, they asked who had done this. Everyone pointed to the lady in
charge. They congratulated her and said: "You have saved his face." By
the end of the summer, the young man brought the lady a bouquet of roses
to thank her. His face was like a baby's skin.
Healing Miracle for burns:
Keep in mind this treatment of burns which is included in teaching beginner fireman this method. First aid consists to spraying cold water on the affected area until the heat is reduced and stops burning the layers of skin. Then, spread egg whites on the affected area.
One woman burned a large part of her hand with boiling water. In spite of the pain, she ran cold faucet water on her hand, separated 2 egg white from the yolks, beat them slightly and dipped her hand in the solution. The whites then dried and formed a protective layer.
She later learned that the egg white is a natural collagen and continued during at least one hour to apply layer upon layer of beaten egg white. By afternoon she no longer felt any pain and the next day there was hardly a trace of the burn. 10 days later, no trace was left at all and her skin had regained its normal color. The burned area was totally regenerated thanks to the collagen in the egg whites, a placenta full of vitamins.
